Looking to cruise along at a leisurely pace? Or maybe you would prefer an exhilarating cross-country experience? Mt Stirling offers a range of trails to suit mountain bikers of any experience level!

Mt Buller and Mt Stirling resorts are home to a comprehensive network of cross-country mountain bike trails designed and built by renowned trail designer Glen Jacobs and his team from World Trail.

The trails are free to use, suitable for conventional mountain bikes and range in difficulty from easy to advanced with a variety of obstacles, technical features and altitudes vary from 600 metres to 1805 metres.

Please be aware that our trails are shared with walkers, horse riders and 4-wheel drivers so ride appropriately and be courteous to other trail users.

Mt Stirling is home to the acclaimed Stonefly Mountain bike trail, as well as one of Australia’s best trails, the Australian Alpine Epic: A 40km cross-country endurance mountain bike trail covering spectacular scenery starting at Mt Buller and taking riders through Mt Stirling, the Mansfield State Forest and the Mt Russell Education Area.
